System Announcements UIS Transitioning to Canvas Learning Management System (Sunday, January 17, 2021) UIS courses for Spring 2021 will be found on Canvas . Please log-in to Canvas at go.uis.edu/canvas . Course Evaluations Available for Summer 2020 Courses (Wednesday, July 8, 2020) Online course evaluations are now available for Summer 2020 classes . All classes appear in the online evaluation system. Students should complete their evaluations no later than Saturday, July 25th. Evaluation feedback is not released to faculty members until after the semester is over. Questions should be addressed to the Provost's Office at (217) 206-7408. Register now for Summer & Fall (Tuesday, May 5, 2020) Registration for the Summer 2020 and Fall 2020 semesters is open and classes are filling up fast! Information pertaining to the summer and fall semesters can be found on the Records and Registration website . Learning Remotely (Wednesday, April 1, 2020) As classes resume online or via remote teaching strategies: UIS has a Keep Learning guide to assist you with commonly-asked questions. Students are reminded to regularly check their UIS e-mail accounts for communication from the university and their faculty. Also, please remember than many services remain available to assist you even when the on-campus offices are not physically open. UIS Office Contact Information The Learning Hub Students can reach the Learning Hub via e-mail at thehub@uis.edu to access virtual and telephone tutoring appointments, assistance with online learning and communication with faculty, and virtual supplemental instruction sessions for designated courses. The Learning Hub email is monitored daily. ITS ITS is available via phone at (217) 206-6000, toll-free at (877) 847-0443, and via e-mail at techsupport@uis.edu ​. ITS also has limited walk-in hours as posted on the ITS website . Brookens Library Brookens Library resources and librarians are available remotely. See the COVID-19 Lib Guide for more information. Remote Learning Problems If you are enrolled in a course that has been moved to remote teaching and you are struggling with how to proceed, please e-mail remotecourse@uis.edu . New Students : If you do not yet have a NetID, you can enter your UIN and activation token to claim one. Your activation token was emailed to your personal email address (the one used to apply to UIS). NEW! Set Your Password Recovery Options Set your recovery options so you can reset your password if it is forgotten or expired. Passwords expire every 365 days.
